Nuremberg is lovely!
We rented bicycles today and rode around town. More excessive eating. I ate Mathis? It's salted fish served with a creamy sauce with cucumber.
The meals here are so big I haven't been able to finish one yet.
Steve had goulash. We both gorged on Bratwurst at lunch.
I lost Steve in the market today. He got cranky.

2nd post
So we're in Nuremberg now, but we don't have the cable that connects the tablet to the camera yet so we have only the photos taken on the tablet.
This was today with Steve's German relatives eating outrageous amounts of food.
We thought you would appreciate the selection of fine German desserts they rolled out.

The Night Before
Excellent rice pudding courtesy of Angie and Bodo.
Mediocre potato salad loving and whimsically prepared by J. Soper. Very good Caesarian Salad and beef ribs prepared by S. Herzing
Much anticipation about the upcoming adventure. Significant worries include volcanic eruptions in Iceland, emergency highway landings in Paris and the biggest concern of all: that my life is about to hit its pinnacle and it will be all downhill after this point. August is going to be a complete shitstorm of depression. September will probably be worse.
Having to say goodbye to my nearly opened daylilies is rough.
